Walk To School on 10-7-09

October 7, 2009 was designated by Sheboygan County as a "County-Wide Walk to School Day". Cedar Grove-Belgium Middle School participated in this special day to promote physical fitness. With our district encompassing such a large area, however, it's not feasible for many of our students to walk to school. So we organized our own walk. Meeting in the Middle School commons, we set out in waves to walk around Cedar Grove to get back to the middle school. One group walked two miles, one walked a mile and a half, and the last group walked about a mile. Upon our return to school, we went about our day as normal. Well, normal for Homecoming! Sure was a nice morning for a walk!!
